Annual Sports Meet!!!

A bright and sunny day smiled upon  the audience and participants ,on the 27th and 28th of January, and the gleaming green grass glistening in the sun added to the buoyant atmosphere. The sports meet was declared open by the President, Professor S.C. Jain, in the presence of the Director and other important heads of the school. The Sports Captain,Junior Wing,Kiranjot Kaur administered the solemn oath to all the participants to respect and abide by the rules in the spirit of fair play. Various track and field events were held on both days. Track events included the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, and 4x100 relay, while field events included the long jump and shot put. The 100 metres gave the school the fastest Athelete; Harshit was adjudged the fastest athlete among the boys, while Jashanpreet Kaur was the fastest girl. The Best Athlete title was bagged by a Ekam Bhumia (boy) and Jasmeet Kaur (girl)in under 9 category while under 11 Divyanshu (boy) and Kiranjot Kaur (girl) were honoured with the same title.The under 14, best athletes were Akshat Tirpathi (boy) and Arpanpreet Kaur (girl) and last, but not the least under 17 category Best Athlete title was won by Yuvraj Singh Hunjan (boy ) and Jashanpreet Kaur(girl).Everyone lauded the competitors for maintaining the electrifying atmosphere. Musical chairs, kangaroo jump, and the three-legged race all jazzed up the atmosphere.
